In an exclusive interview with Rock Candy magazine, Ace Frehley, founding member and revered guitarist of KISS, disclosed the reasons behind his absence from the band’s final show at Madison Square Garden last December. Despite fans urging his return, Frehley clarified that he made an effort but was unable to make it happen as he was never formally asked. Dismissing speculation about past substance abuse affecting the decision, he emphasized his current sobriety. Frehley expressed love for KISS leaders Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, despite longstanding disagreements.
